BUS 445 - Social Impact in a Global Context Credits: 3 Total Hours: 60 Organizations operate at the intersection of social, political, economic, and environmental spheres; in the global arena, the implications are vast. In this course, students will learn to navigate these inherent complexities in order to align organizational actions with organizational values. They will research the nuances and interplay of micro and macro factors that influence decisions and affect outcomes. Articulating a realistic and pragmatic understanding of a problem, students will identify the diverse perspectives, systemic factors, and dynamic tensions present in global challenges. They will draw from selected international accords, declarations, and frameworks to measure the role and impact of organizations in the creation of sustainable social, environmental, and economic value at an international level.
