Learning Outcomes


Upon successful completion of this program, the learner will be able to 

  1. Demonstrate basic technical writing, reading and communication skills required for effective professional communications
  2. Use the appropriate software to produce documents that meet industry expectations
  3. Demonstrate competency in core algebra topics sufficient for entry into the target program
  4. Solve simple engineering/technical problems using introductory math and computing skills and knowledge
  5. Apply basic computer terminology, concepts and applications to experiential learning activities

It is highly recommended that the academic admission requirements be completed no more than five years before program commencement. If more than five years have elapsed, upgrading in the required subjects is recommended.

Program Completion Requirements


To graduate from this program, students must:

  • complete all courses and achieve a minimum GPA of 2.0
  • obtain “C” or higher in ENGL 130 and MATH 139
