HIST 110 - Inventing Canada:History of Canada Before Confederation Credits: 3 Total Hours: 45 This course examines social, cultural, political and economic developments leading to the creation of Canada. It includes a study of Indigenous societies, European colonization and its legacy, Indigenous-European relations, French-English relations and the growing shift in focus from a local to a continental structure.
