BUS 314 - Cross Cultural Leadership Credits: 3 Total Hours: 60 This course will focus on historical and cultural perspectives of leadership and the impact of globalization on the practice of leading across cultures. The theoretical and practical issues of cross-cultural leadership in organizations will provide the context for the readings and discussion. Students will examine the intercultural and leadership competencies needed to build and maintain relationships with employees, clients and other businesses in a cross-cultural business environment. They will learn how to build inclusive environments, that build trust and encourage high performance in their organizations.
Prerequisites One of:
- C in BUS 214
- Bachelor degree from a recognized post-secondary institution
