AET 260 - Emergency Conditions 1 Credits: 3 Total Hours: 75 Restricted to students in Athletic & Exercise Therapy Students will study theoretical and practical applications of advanced skills to evaluate and care for emergency conditions. Students will apply anatomical, physiological and biomechanical knowledge to the prevention and assessment of injuries and illnesses, relating to urgent care. Students will study theoretical and practical applications of advanced urgent care skills needed to evaluate and care for injuries and conditions related to the cardiovascular system, respiratory system, head, and spine. Students will be introduced to pharmacological principles and apply treatments according to authorized drug profiles.
