HLTH 110 - Health and Wellness in Today’s Society Credits: 3 Total Hours: 45 Drawing on holistic perspectives of health and wellness, students will learn how to become agents of their own health and wellbeing. In this introductory course, students will gain fundamental skills and knowledge by exploring the dimensions of wellness within the context of the social determinants of health. Assessing their own health and wellness, students will be able to make informed decisions on how to support and enhance their personal and professional wellbeing. Reflecting, with compassion, on their lived experience, their values, beliefs, and choices, students will develop a personal health and wellness plan.
