CSEA 175 - Professionalism & Ethical Practice

Restricted to students in Education Assistant and Community Support
Using an inquiry approach to professionalism and ethics, learners will develop an approach and philosophy for practice in the Education Assistant and Community Support field. Learners will examine ways to enhance responsibility and accountability in their practice, as well as develop advanced social skills for effective collaboration and teamwork. Decolonial, trauma-informed, and relational practice principles will ground the inquiry and provide learners with ethical frameworks with which to empower themselves, their communities, and the people they support.
