Students will further develop a foundation of basic mathematics skills, concepts, vocabulary, and problem-solving strategies to prepare them to meet personal, career, or academic goals. With a focus on fractions, students will learn to simplify and perform operations on improper fractions and mixed numbers; they will also apply these skills to word problems. Throughout the course, students will develop math fact fluency and estimation skills to increase their confidence and competence in mathematics.
