NURS 252 - Applied Health Science for RN Practice
Credits: 3 Total Hours: 90
Restricted to students in Practical Nurse to Baccalaureate of Science in Nursing
Learners will begin to transition from the role of Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to the role of Registered Nurse (RN) by expanding their foundational knowledge and skills in managing acute and complex health challenges across the lifespan. Through the application of pharmacology, pathophysiology, and care planning, learners refine their health assessment and clinical decision-making skills. With an emphasis on evidence-informed practice, patient-centered care, and anti-oppressive practice, learners prepare to navigate the expanded scope and responsibilities of the RN role.
