ASTR 102 - A Cosmic Journey Through Space and Time Credits: 3 Total Hours: 90 Have you ever wondered how big the Universe really is? What Carl Sagan meant by “we are made of star stuff”? Or what would happen if you fell into a black hole? In this introductory astronomy course, you will take a journey through the cosmos - from the birth and death of stars and galaxies to the mysterious forces of dark matter, dark energy, and the origins of the Universe in the Big Bang. Through hands-on activities, you will build a foundation of scientific insights for inspiring and enabling lifelong learning about the Universe.
