ASTR 102 - A Cosmic Journey Through Space and Time

Have you ever wondered how big the Universe really is? What Carl Sagan meant by “we are made of star stuff”? Or what would happen if you fell into a black hole? In this introductory astronomy course, you will take a journey through the cosmos - from the birth and death of stars and galaxies to the mysterious forces of dark matter, dark energy, and the origins of the Universe in the Big Bang. Through hands-on activities, you will build a foundation of scientific insights for inspiring and enabling lifelong learning about the Universe.
