DHYG 410 - Critical Research Analysis

Restricted to students in Dental Hygiene
Students will learn to critically analyze and evaluate research methods and results in the context of oral health, while recognizing the limits of knowledge and how these might influence analyses and interpretations. Students will broaden their understanding of evidence-informed practice and research methodology to support autonomous decisions as a dental hygiene practitioner and business owner. Students will use research information to problem-solve and develop strategies, services, and policies to protect and enhance the oral health status of the public as a dental hygiene practitioner.
